Rockstar Games has set the price for Grand Theft Auto VI and dated its pre-orders. The Standard Edition will cost $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition $99.99, with pre-orders opening June 25, the studio said on its Newswire. The game launches November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Rockstar is selling only two versions, with no separate collector’s or special edition. The Standard Edition is the base game. The Ultimate Edition, at $99.99, adds what the studio described as an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, and apparel woven across the story of its two leads, Jason and Lucia, according to VideoCardz.

Both editions carry the same pre-order bonus, the Vintage Vice City Pack, for orders placed before November 20. It includes a 1955 Vapid Stanier sedan and a garage in the Ocean Beach district, period outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, and a weapon finish, Rockstar said. Players who pre-order a digital copy also receive a free month of GTA+, the company’s membership service, and can begin pre-loading on November 12.
Pre-orders open at midnight local time on June 25 through the PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store, the Rockstar Games Store, and participating retailers.

An $80 base price
The $79.99 Standard Edition places Grand Theft Auto VI at the higher end of current pricing, above the $69.99 that became the common rate for major releases this generation. Publishers have moved toward $80 base prices over the past two years, and one of the most anticipated launches in the medium’s history now sits at that tier, as The Hollywood Reporter noted. The game is published by Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s parent company.
Grand Theft Auto VI arrives November 19 after Rockstar pushed it back from earlier 2026 windows. It is launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with no PC version announced for the release. Pre-orders begin June 25.
