Advertising Policy

Last updated: June 18, 2026. This Advertising Policy explains how advertising works on Culture Quill and the standards advertising must meet. For how we disclose commercial relationships to readers, see our Affiliate & Advertising Disclosure.

Editorial independence

Advertising is kept separate from editorial. Advertisers and sponsors have no influence over our reporting, reviews, or scores, and no advance access to editorial content. Our editorial team has final say over coverage.

Ad standards

Ads on Culture Quill must be clearly distinguishable from editorial content, relevant to a general audience, and safe. We work with reputable ad partners and use industry controls to limit low-quality or malicious ads.

Ads we do not accept

  • Illegal products or services
  • Deceptive, misleading, or fraudulent claims
  • Malware, auto-redirects, auto-playing audio, or ads that interfere with site functionality
  • Adult or sexually explicit content
  • Content that promotes hate, harassment, violence, or discrimination
  • Counterfeit goods or intellectual-property infringement

Sponsored and branded content

Any paid content (sponsored articles, partnerships) is clearly labeled as such, kept visually distinct from independent editorial, and produced consistent with FTC guidelines and our editorial standards.

Non-essential advertising cookies load only with your consent — you can accept or decline in our cookie banner, change your choice anytime via “Manage cookies” in the footer, and we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.
